Our Squawk....well what can I say! Aptly named and absolutely barmy, he was a wonderful pet.
When we first got him, we recorded a tape of us all saying "Hello Squawk!" over and over, which he
started to repeat, along with other phrases!
He loved coming out of his cage and flying to a mirror we had on the wall, to admire and talk to
himself for hours. He also liked to fly onto our heads and peck our hair(!) or even to your finger
if you held out your hand and called him.
He loved music and his favourites were The Honeycombs - "Is it because" and "Have I the Right"
(hence the reason for the music here on Squawk's page). He danced like mad to these tracks!
As mentioned on Patch's page, Squawk imitated Dad's horn for his bike, and this confused us as well
as Patch, as we thought it was Dad returning from work, but no, it was Squawk!
A wonderful budgie, he had a long life and is missed very much. R.I.P Squawkie. xxx
